Casting for Jersey Shore Season 2

FARMINGDALE — A casting call is being held here for the MTV reality series "Jersey Shore" on April 26 and 27, a report on MyFoxNY.com said. The second season of the series scheduled to air this summer is being shot in both Miami and New Jersey, according to the report. I think Id be the first Jerseyan on the show.

I started watching Season 1 on my iPhone last week. I think I am on episode 5.

I didn't think I would like it, but it is actually pretty funny, as long as you turn your brain off and not try to get some grand meaning out of it.

It's the kind of show you watch when can't do anything else, on the way to work or waiting for an appointment.

Also, I was surprised that Snooki wasn't Italian, but Chilean and raised by Italian parents.

the casting is actually for season three, the original cast is coming back for season 2 but they are trying to get more money outta mtv based on the popularity of the show even though they are already under contract. my guess is that they will film at the same time and air them one in the fall and one in the spring.

I agree. So much of it is scripted.

I have seen a few promo pics about that show and figured I would not find it interesting in the least.

Why would I want to see a bunch of guys who think it is cool to spike their hair, get roided up and tan so much that it looks like a bad makeup job for an oompa loompa reunion show?

I don't know maybe it is funny in a way where you laugh at the guys for looking so silly and they are too brain dead to realize they look like dorks because they are too busy thinking they look cool.

I found the first season if it hilarious cause I've rarely seen a group of people more ignorant and self absorbed in my life. Watching things like this has to make a person only feel that much better about themselves.
