Why do the majority of NFL players keep approving agreements between the players union and the NFL?

60%

Over half of all players in the NFL make under $900,000/year and are on short contracts2. Roughly 60% of NFL players operate on minimum-salary deals1. No draftee actually hits the number, however. In fact, everyone selected on Day 3 last year signed a contract worth between $979,000 and $1.2 million annually3.
They are the majority they could vote the agreement down until the agreement was more equitable. I don't get it

From what I heard, they (the majority) are the problem. This isn't a 9 to 5 job, a million dollars is a lot of money to people. They'll agree to anything. From what I understand, the union has trouble getting the majority to agree to a down vote or possible strike.

I guess when you have payments to make on your Lamborghini, you can't afford to strike.

It guarantees that players, as a collective, get paid c.2/3rds of league income. Before the CBA, players were, on average, paid a lower %. So they've done well.
