I looked at FantasyPros updated for Rounds 2 and 3 they have Dallas selecting:

2nd Round: Steve Avila OG
3rd Round: Roschan Johnson RB

if they actually pulled this off i am going to pretend we drafted Avila in Rd 1 and Mazi in RD 2 and be happy.

Traspasso's mock. Has the other TEs - Washington, LaPorta and Musgrave - all going ahead of Mayer who slips to us at 58. Somewhere CATCH17 soils himself in excitement.

Then Ricks, CB in the 3rd. Looking at whose on the board at each pick, Mayer makes sense as some of the guys we have talked about - Avila, Hyatt, Tillman, the other TEs - are all off the board. Mims at 58 could make some sense. But I just noticed Schmitz is still on the board. Yeah, I might go him, then Mayer at 58 in that order.

In the third, I think I'd pass on Ricks and go Zavala (if we didn't go OL in the 2nd) or Kraft (if we didn't go TE in the 2nd).

I'm 100% in agreement with you. I don't see him there either. I think he will
be gone around 40th myself.
