Including the post season, he has put up the following numbers: 82 catches, 993 yards, and 4 touchdowns. His last 100 yard receiving game was Halloween last year, he's going on almost a year with ZERO hundred yard games. I think he's a good number 2 receiver, but not a legit number one receiver.

Whole offense slumped last year second half not just Ceedee.

This year we are a run first offense that played with a backup for 5 games. You don’t throw for 200 yards per game and expect to have a WR go for a buck 25 and two tubs.

Ceedee is the overwhelming leader in targets, catches, and yards. Proportionally, he’s a huge chunk of our passing production.

Can’t just look at stats in a vacuum and act like they define anyone. Add context. We are a run first team now, don’t expect pass first stats.

I've never had a really high opinion of Lamb.

At OU, he was a play maker with the ball in his hands, but it's easy to manufacture space for your play makers in the Big XII. He did not have to create a ton of space on his own, and now it seems he may be having issues doing just that in the NFL.

Good receiver; happy to have him. Still think he was a great value where he was drafted, especially at the time. But he's not a legit #1.

The #1 vs complementary debate is fair, but CeeDee has proven beyond doubt at this point that he's a legit NFL starter. We are really just debating the size of his next payday.
I also think people mix up being a top 5 WR with being a WR1.

There are like 20-22 WR1’s at any given time. These are just guys who can be relied on as the focal point of the passing game and be keyed on by opposed DC’s. If the guy is 40%ish of your passing game production consistently then he’s a 1.

90ish catches, 1200ish yards and 8ish tubs is generally what you get from the non top-5/6 WR1’s. Ceedee is firmly in that 12-15 range of WR’s. Does that mean he’s elite? No. But does it mean he’s a 1? Yes.

Keep in mind all good passing attacks have multiple WR’s. Relying on 1 guy to do it all is how you get a Rams/Cooper Kupp situation.

That's fair but not just, has he ever really had Number 1 WR targets up until this year...

No doubt about that. I think he’s firmly in the Marvin Jones/Michael Gallup/Adam Thielen tier. With most offenses starting 3 WR’s now, Few teams have both #2’s and #3’s better

Dallas is averaging 30 pass attempts per game, let's not act like we're running a 90s offense. Hell, Irvin put numbers in a run first offense
