Cedrick Wilson

Amazing how the mighty can, and has, fallen.

From a receiver corps at the start if 2021 of Cooper, Lamb, Gallup and Wilson, hailed by many as one of the greatest in Cowboys history, to one, at this point, of Lamb. (Gallup very unlikely to be ready by season's opener, only had surgery a month ago).

Thanks, Jerry...

Gallup will be lucky to play 1/2 this off season has been an absolute disaster

I predict Wilson will finish the season with more yards than Gallup and will have a higher ypc than lamb even if he’s playing for the dolphins.

i predict if this happens it will be because Dak played like crap and you will be in here telling us how that’s because he doesn’t have any weapons

How many games do you expect Gallup to play?

Wilson will be set up behind some other weapons so he could very well feast on his YPC but I doubt he'll get the volume unless there are injuries ahead of him.

Players come and go around the league. This is why we have player personnel dept guys and count on them to replenish the player pool.
Same way you lose a Ceddy Wilson in FA ,...same way you find and draft and develop a Ceddy Wilson,
That's why even late round picks, compensatory picks are so valuable.

I don't know what Wilson will do in Miami, but what I do know is the loss of him and Cooper will surely make our offense worse.

I don't see any way we're not a worse team next year then we were last year.

The offense the last 3/4 of the season was the issues in almost every game and we've done nothing to make it better and plenty to make it worse.

If we had signed Wilson to the same money, people would be ranting about over paying a JAG lol

That's fine... Another fine comp pick for Payton next season.

That's true, though my point was simply that teams can go from an embarrassment of riches to rags (relatively speaking) very quickly.

But extremely unlikely you're going to find a Cooper in the 4th round of the draft, e.g. And if you use your no. 1 and or 2 pick on a good receiver, now you can't get a top guard, center, cornerback, defensive end, safety, defensive lineman since you used your high picks on receivers.

Oh well, life goes on as a Dallas Cowboys fan....

Should have kept Cedric and Amari- it's just simple! I have16 more in cap room but my offense just went down the drain!
