CeeDee Lamb was the offense and MVP if there was one

After the 49ers game, MM made a concerted effort to center the passing game around Lamb. By the end of the year, he was targeted over 170 times, which is insanely high, especially in light of how he started the season.

GB was playing Lamb aggressively and made a concerted effort to take him out the game. And you could see multiple times Dak just pulling back and looking like a deer in the headlights when the read wasn’t there. The pick 6 was a stare down, 1st read again, the second defender just staring at Dak’s eyes and jumping the route. Even the commentator pointed out early in the game Dak bailing early on a route when he had Ferguson at the same side as Lamb, when Lamb was covered. McCoy was right in that this offense was dumbed-down and simplified for Dak.

This is the same story over and over again. The fact our pass blocking had 3 all-pro linemen masked Dak’s inability to process the whole field once his early read isn’t there.

Ceedee is very good but I like spreading the ball around more. I’m disappointed CeeDee didn’t show more fire, hell he let Alexander just shove him in the back that one play and didn’t even stand up for himself.

Unless you get a QB that isn’t a mental midget, it’s going to be like this. Dak did the same thing with Cooper when he first came here.
