Rooting for him. He's a likable guy. He's also changing his name back to Chad Johnson this year.

Imagine the uproar if during the lockout Romo did something like this.

Man I wonder the backlash Romo would get if he played some other sport while there was no football....

This is just another get my face in the media ploy just like Dancing with the Stars was. He is an attention *****, he won't be playing in the MLS as you have to have skills to do so. I seriously doubt he has any.

"Due to the NFL lockout, I'm excited to be able to follow my childhood dream of playing for a Major League Soccer team," Ochocinco said. "Thanks to Sporting Kansas City for giving me this opportunity."

Chad Johnson was 18 when MLS played it's first season. Then again he acts like his childhood never ended...

to be fair to him he's a massive fan of the sport (he's always banging on about getting up early to watch european games) and played it as a youth. doubt if he'll be good enough to make it even at the relatively low standard of the mls but at least he's lowered his expectations a little, this time last year he was talking about going to play in spain if the lockout happened.

i was wondering if he was young enough to have had a childhood dream of playing in mls but i'll give him the benefit of the doubt and accept he meant play pro football.
