He was married to his wife, Shirley, for 57 years and never thought of himself as a rock star, he just wanted to play drums for people.

I rode shotgun and played the dashboard along with him on "Get Off My Cloud" for months after that song came out.

"Jumping Jack Flash" and "Gimme Shelter" are the only 2 of my top 10's by the same band.

A true gentleman has left Rock and he will be missed.
