Overall, he explained it well. This loss definitely was not on Dak. As for those 2 go routes along both sidelines to Michael Gallup, I disagreed on how he said the first throw along the left sideline did not give Gallup a chance. What chance? Gallup was covered very well. The 2nd go route throw along the right sideline was maybe a second late but even then Gallup was covered like a glove with no room to make a play on the ball. Both terrible play designs fall on our play designer, O-Coordinator and Head Coach, Mike McCarthy.

Objectively it was a combination of a lot of things. Dak still made some bad throws but also, the 49ers were all over the vanilla offense. That's just one side of the ball. The Defense got Pwned too. Dak is definitely not without blame as shown in the video but it wasn't just him either.

People having been saying Dallas is vanilla and predictable since Garrett, why are we so plagued with bad playcallers?
We are dying for Kellen's offense back already. The one motion play by a WR and it scored a TD. LOL

My concern is I'm not sure he's showing the leadership and confidence MM wanna see. I'm not if many remember but MM mentioned during training camp he was working with Dak on the best plays that work best for him. So far, something is way off, but honestly, I'm starting to think he caving to the pressure of trying to prove he's a $50M QB, rather than just playing ball and winning.

I always enjoy seeing the analysis from a pro QB.
I especially like Kurt Warner's reviews, but this was good too.
Props to Chase Daniel.

A few things I notice:
1. Our offensive schemes are flawed and very simple.
We need more motion and flushing out of what the D is doing. We have such little movement, the Niners aren't even trying hard to disguise what they're doing. They were that confident they could stop us.
2. Our receivers are not good at creating separation quickly. (We could use a precise route runner like Amari Cooper, lol)
MM needs to compensate with more rubs and picks to create necessary separation. Our WR's are not that good.
3. Fred Warner knows our plays. It's so obvious, he runs precisely to the right spot every time. Greenlaw also knows some of the plays. I don't take anything away from those players, they are great players, but again, point 1. These guys know exactly what we are doing, and we do nothing to disguise it.
4. Dak misses Dalton Schultz. I like Feguson a bunch, I think he is going to be really good, but Schultz was Dak's security blanket (so was Zeke to a lesser extent). Without those guys, Dak is forcing some things down the field. Schultz's contract was interesting, but his cap number is just 2.875 this year. Wish we would have tried to keep him, I think Dak suffers without him, and he is partially responsible for the emergence of CJ, he's been really good the last few games while the Texans have been playing well.
5. We do not use Tony Pollard correctly. Pollard can be dynamic, but we are using him like we used Zeke. Run between the tackles. Get Pollard more involved in the pass game, get him isolated on LB's, he will beat them. Pollard is not as good as McCaffrey, but he is similar and needs to be utilized better. Waste of his talent. Might as well have let him walk and signed a cheap RB with the way we are using him. He's a good football player, watching him pick up blitz's, we are just using him wrong.
6. Terrance Steele is getting worked. I hope he's just still working back from the ACL, we just gave him a bunch of money. I give him the benefit of the doubt, but sure hoping this is not Lael Collins 2.0
7. Dak played poorly in this game, and a franchise QB needs to be better, but he was not the only issue. Our coaching sucks and our D was a disgrace too. A lot of blame to go around.

Pretty much in-line with a lot of my thoughts, Dak definitely had issues but the offense was absolutely stagnant in every way. Our receivers sucked. It's deflating because it is quite obvious our team is not in the same stratosphere of being able to compete with the 49ers. This was just the Cowboys offense. The Defense tape looked just as bad from what I could tell. Yikes.

I don't understand it. I don't know if I should be mad that even the Commanders at one point had Sean McVey, Kyle Shanahan and Matt Lafleur...but then again they stuck with Jay Gruden and now Rivera......

In regards to this video. I get it. The offense sucks and I know it sucks not just because of Dak. I'm just so tired of hearing this excuse. There's always a explanation for why things go bad. How about we stop going bad though? But I mean it is what it is. Eventually there will be no more scapegoats just Jerry and Stephen.

The problem is that it won’t get better.

The season is over.

You hate to see it but we already know how this story ends and it’s only October.

Dallas is not the kind of team that figure things out and gets better

They will just do the same thing and it will work against weak opponents and give a false illusion.

Did you watch it all? Did you see some things you didn't see in the game? I did.. but overall I kind of agree with you. Good teams like the 49ers will beat us like a drum and we'll beat teams that don't have Fred Warner. It's pathetic our Offense can't figure out how to beat man-coverage. That's a HUGE problem.

I found this video very informative, from a former NFL QB he obviously knows some stuff I don't. He's new on YouTube I think but I enjoyed the break downs. It's a little long but some good info.

I can't get past the opening throw..... how hard of a throw was it? It was 15 yard out from a clean pocket, you're a pro QB, the TE is 6'6...stop the BS excuses. We went three and out there and that was a tone setter

Right.
This video doesn't exonerate Dak, just shows there is a lot wrong with this team.
Dak played poorly in a huge game, again.
I don't know if you saw this, but your post reminds me of that ESPN thing a few years ago with Dak and David Carr. They were throwing at targets, starting with close in and then moving further away.
Carr, who was never very good, just dominated Dak.
Carr was throwing lazers at all the targets and hitting them dead on. Dak couldn't hit the side of a barn.
I mean one of these guys was out of the league and considered a bust, and the other was a superstar QB of the Dallas Cowboys.
It was telling and this miss you point out reminded me of it.

That was another eye test that Dak failed and people immediately dismissed.

I remember that and thinking "yikes" as well... lol I don't think you can fix accuracy that much.

Cowboy "Fan" base is really embarrassing this Week....

Every Sunday Top 5 Elite QBs miss throws, over throw, under throw, throw medicine balls, tipped INTs and regular INTs.

Dak Haters will hold a referendum on every Prescott pass :lmao: .....

Kurt Warner to Chase Daniels give details but it's NOT ABOUT FOOTBALL for Dak Haters.....it's about Game 5 Eye Test Celebrated only when Cowboys Lose:muttley::lmao2:

I thought vanilla offense was only for the pre season!!!???
