I hope most of you know that the original video was not real.
I have seen loads of videos like this where someone adds different
sound to make the guitar(ist) sound awful.

The one I posted above, anyone who has seen the crossroads movie knows that it was not how the machio scene sounded.

On a side note from the original video. I like when the guy tells the other guy to play something low down....then he breaks out a great underrated guitar riff with just got paid by zz top
