I being the youngest I had a sibling rivalry with my sister. Never did I want to like anything she did. Even cereal, we had 2 favorites at breakfast She liked Count Choculala and Ilike Frankenberry. She like Coco- Pepples and I liked Fruity Pepples. So got me thinking what was your childhood cereal. It's Saturday Morning and cartoons are coming on. Parents asleep. What cereal did you make for yourself?

frosted mini wheats...but as a kid they were more rectangular than the little squares.

also loved frosted flakes...count chocula...boo berry...lucky charms and cinamin toast crunch.

i also remember Danny White on the front of the kellogg's corn flakes box.

Most of the fruity flavored cereals had a chemical taste, to me. Apple Jacks were great, even though they tasted nothing like Apple.

Apple Jacks definitely. There was variety there. Sometimes I was in the mood for Sugar Smack. Sometimes Honey Combs. Fruit or Chocolate Peebles. Apple Jacks was the fave though

Kellogg's Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies were my gateway cereals and then I decided to go with the hard stuff, Frosted Flakes, Sugar Smacks, Trix, Cocoa Puffs and Fruit Loops. Then, I went full gutter and began combining Cocoa Puffs and Cocoa Krispies or Trix and Fruit Loops for the different textures

Now, if a have a bowl, I have Cheerios, Almond Milk and Splenda. Gone are the days of my reckless youth and defiance against the norms of society. I sold out for a bowl of o's.

Capn Crunch, Fruit Loops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies,

regular Cap’n Crunch was always my favorite, but any cereal would do in a pinch! Just in time for the Laugh Olympics, Shazam, land of the lost, scooby doo, bugs and crew. Captain Caveman! lol

Saturday mornings were amazing!

I loved those sugary cereals, but considering our financial state, are "cereal" was usually torn up pieces of bread with sugar, in a bowl of powdered milk. My mother tried to put the powdered milk in a real milk container, but come on, who's gonna fall for that?

Cheerio's and Raisin Bran are the go to cereals these days. And of course oatmeal.
