Chili Mac Burgers

Anyone here eat Chili Mac?

So, I make home made Chili about once a month. I make a total of about 2lbs of it and eat it several different ways. Chili Cheese dogs, Chili with crackers, Frito Pie, Just a bowl of Chili with cheese over it, etc.

I've had Chili Mac when I was younger, (in my teens probably) but I never made it myself in all these years. So, I decided to make some this weekend since I was making Chili. I picked up one of the large blocks of Velveeta. (my favorite cheese for Mac and Cheese) Cooked up some elbow pasta added the Velveeta and then once it was done mixed in some of my home made Chili.

DAMN it was good! I don't remember it being that good, but it was really good. That is what I ate for lunch on Saturday.

On Saturday night; I still had a taste for it, but the wife wanted to me cook burgers on the grill. I didn't tell her I was going to eat the Chili Mac again so she prepped burgers for everyone.

That gave me an idea. I cooked all the burgers but left cheese off of mine. Once they were ready, I took my burgers and spread Chili Mac over the burger. WOW, that freaking owned!

So, if you like Chili, Cheese, and burgers, you've got to try a Chili Mac Burger. They are incredible! Winner, Winner, Chili Mac Burger Dinner! :laugh2:

I love Chili. Chili is one of those things that can be made so many different ways with so many different focuses. You can focus on spice, pure heat, you can give it a sweet taste.. So many possibilities. Of course, all of those possibilities usually wind up hurting you in the end, if you know what I mean.
