The #1 badminton team thrown out of the Olympics because they were trying to throw games. They replied it was due to injuries.Uh ok I'm sure every sport has them, just, ok.

Quotes from them,

"This is my last match," Yu Yang wrote on her microblog account late Wednesday. "Farewell Badminton World Federation, farewell my beloved badminton."

"We were injured before the match," Yu wrote. "And we were using the rule to give up the match to be better prepared for the knockout round. Do you know how much pain we suffer when we athletes get injured and still have to compete?"

"I can't believe we fought so hard for four years and the result is this!" Wang wrote. "I tried hard at the match with a body full of injuries."

South Korean and Indonesian teams were also disqualified.

Hahaha!

Idiots were hitting it out of bounds and stuff to lose on purpose. That's lame. They also need to grow a pair and learn how to play banged up like people do in any sport.

Anybody who saw that travesty knew they were dogging it to get an easier draw... they should have been kicked out, for one the IOC got it exactly right...

If they're scared to face the best competition, they don't deserve to be in the Olympics... if you're a champion, you want to beat the best competition...
