He looks like the first rder, and Spears looks and gets his name called like the 4th rd project.

That got lost in the shuffle of todays tough one.

I am impressed with out entire DL rotation. The only real missing piece, imo, is some more quality linebacking.

the DL did well today. and, Canty did flash quite a few times. very encouraging.

Yep, the Defensive Line played very well today. All we heard was how the Broncos were going to run it down our throats until we begged them to stop.

I knew the day Parcells walked in the door he would start building the Defense the right way, from the line backwards. This is clearly helping our corners who played extremely well today.

This game could have went either way, the Boys have no reason to be ashamed.

I agree, Mike. No reason to be ashamed at all.

And on Canty... Just imagine next year when he has some experience and a full year of weight training. He's going to be SCARY good at about 6-8 and 310 or so.

Canty has clearly outplayed Spears who needs a kick in the arse to get his motor going. I think we should have our bookend DEs for the next several years, though.

I am so happy with Chris Canty. Today he showed how hard he can be to deal with. I also think Burnett is coming around. Spears and Ware are solid. Ratliff was good until he got hurt. So was Beriault. Pettiti is playing well enough to make me feel like RT is okay for a number of years. Barber contributes.

It's better than I could have imagined.

IMO - Ware had a very quiet but very good game. He showed some of that speed we keep hearing about, and did more than just bull rush on passing downs. I was impressed by some of his little things.

Canty! Canty! Canty!

It seemed like all I heard over the loud speaker was tackle by No. 99 Chris Canty... He just seemed to disrupt alot of plays.

If I can get another female to join the board, I'm gonna suggest that her username is Canty'sSweetheart :)

Ware had a great game,, led all Defensive Lineman in tackles, the only player with more tackles today was Roy W. Although Canty did get a sack and he played pretty good too, but Ware is coming around and will be dominant next year.

Yeah, Canty was a beast, and finally understand why BP raved about him behind closed doors during TC.

He will be all-pro soon enough if he continues like that and barring injuries too. I think he reminds me a of Richard Seymour. Same Hieght and play making skills.

Yea, he was almost as good as Ebenezer Ekubahn.

Ware would have had 3 or 4 sacks playing against our OL yesterday

as it was, he caused one sack and came close at least one other time that I remember

Shanle was inactive, we missed having him in there, but Fowler did okay.

Spears has been pretty good, especially vs the run...he's gonna be a damn good DE (regardless of what scheme it is) for years to come

so is Canty

I'm impressed with all our rookies.

Ware is getting really good in the run game. He just engulfs RBs.
