Why does my rhythm always have me sleeping until ridiculous hours and then put me up all night. Tonight especially sucks because I'm packing up and moving........trying to be out of town by 10am and I swore to myself the last time I moved that I wouldn't wait until the last minute.........so much for preparing early.

Anyhow, I've never had a regular sleeping patter. NEVER. I'm talking all the way back to grade school where I would basically lay in bed for hours on end not being able to fall asleep.

I had a job for a bit that required me to pull overnight shifts so at least then I had a reason and I had myself convinced that I would get on a normal schedule after I was done with that job. Anyhow, it didn't happen. Been about two years and while I can get a few stretches of normal sleeping hours, I always fall off.

Anyway, sleep sucks. I never get on track and just run on low sleep as a result. I have a 9 hour drive tomorrow and I'm probably gonna get an hour or so of sleep tonight. Anyone with a good meth connection, let me know.

I feel you man. I was a bartender from the age of 18 to around 25-26, and I still bartend in the off-season a little. I simply can't go to bed before 3, and I find myself staying up till 5 or later frequently. Like you, I can go short stretches of normal sleeping, but it always fades. I'm 30 now and I keep hoping one day some normal sleeping pattern will just kick in out of nowhere, doesn't seem to be happening though.

Melatonin supplements are your bestest friend. I take 3 three milligram chewables every night. You'll be shocked at how good you sleep, and you'l start remembering your dreams as well.

+1.

Always works if I stray off of my usual sleep pattern. Give it a try.
