The NFL 2K games were much better than the Madden games in my opinion. So I'm all for bringing in some competition so that EA doesn't just release the same version of Madden every year.

I think most people could care less about getting any money from EA. What I want is choice in playing NCAA/NFL football games.

I only played one 2k game and didn't think it was any better or worse than Madden.

I still prefer Madden on the pc over console.

2k was pretty meh until 2k5 which IMO to this day remains the best football game ever made by quite a large margin.
