1. Discipline with accountability, no more excuses on dumb play penalties. The cowboys were the worst at penalties on this team. False starts, standing still while defensive players go by that player, stupid penalties on special teams, that kept occurring over and over.

2. Basically there was no incentive plays, on offense, which our players were wide open or fooled opposing defenses. Not involving Turpin in more offensive plays, if the Kansas city Chiefs could do that involvement with their star wr that went to Miami, then cowboys should. Our offensive line coach having players on offensive line playing in schemes that wasn't their strong suit. As you said we will have players playing to their strengths not their weaknesses. Most of our wide receivers were running routs that opposing defenses knew.

3. As your working with Jerry and Stephen Jones, this waiting and waiting to sign our own players like Dak, Ceedee has got to stop. The eagles sign their players, creating money to sign top free agents. Stephen and Jerry would say even when the eagles won their Superbowl of signing top free agents will catch up to them, but as you know the eagles rebuilt their team and signed top players, even trading for top wr a j brown. If the eagles, chiefs can do this why can't the cowboys front office.

4. Coach Schottenheimer, you talked about culture on this team, why is it that when cowboys played Rams in preseason and got killed or when playing good teams, looks like the cowboys got outplayed players and coaches, example the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. Another example, Michael Irvin said that on Saturday's players are allowed to go home, after about 1 pm, which if players go home I guess the coaches do to.

In the 90s when cowboys won championships, players worked Saturday afternoon and then would study film but the Dallas Cowboys don't do that why? Someone like Jimmy Johnson did, someone has to be tough, ready to cut or trade players, not trying to be a daddy at times, someone has to carry enig stick and players fear that coach, not the front office. Players have to want to study, work extra after hours, while making other players accountable not only from the coaches but the front office to.

Dallas not unique in this but playing people according to age & salary . And then no matter the results you keep playing the same person .

Malik Hooker & Terence Steele . Would rather have seen Israel Mukuamu and Asim Richards .

The one guy who needed reps who Mac actually benched was Guyton and Chum Edoga his replacement was playing like garbage or got hurt . Your # 1 pick in a losing season needs exposure reps experience not Edoga who needs to be cast away .

I hope the new HC makes wise decisions for starters and bench depth . Mac was horrible at it .

Hill is one of the premier route runners in the league. Turpin is one of the worst. When Aikman mentioned lazy routes the week following the Branch int in the end zone vs Detroit it was the route Turpin ran that he was alluding to. Pathetic effort by Turpin on that play.
Got to be more than just fast in this league!

1: ST Penalties.
- ST coach Bones Fassel coached played to be overly aggressive.
- i.e. He was OK with a high penalty rate.

2: Turpin is a limited player.
- Not consider a good route runner.
- Not remotely in the same talent ballpark at Tyrek Hill.
- There were some games where they really tried to get Turpin involved.

3: CeeDee was the only player that "held out".
- He wouldn't have played much in preseason anyway.

4: Preseason and preparation.
- Most (maybe all) teams now take the approach of very limited preseason snaps for starters.
- Mike Irvin said that Jimmy had them stay in a hotel even for home games.
- I don't know what coaches prior to McCarthy did in that regard.
- Nobody understands that happened vs Green Bay.
- Many believe that the Joneses never regained trust in McCarthy afterwards.

Mukuamu in the NFL has rarely played Free Safety.
Fans often blame the FS on failed plays because the FS is in the camera frame at the end of a big play by the offense.
- It's often players in front of the FS that failed.
- Hooker is now a wow player, but better than many the Cowboys have had at the position in the past.

SS Wilson is the bigger concern to me.
- Makes some big plays, big hits, but has many fails, especially in against the run.

I think they wanted to work Asim Richards into the mix more, but he was in/out with some injury issues.

Edoga has some games where he was decent.
- He is very aggressive in the run game.

I don't know the full story with Guyton.
- He had a legit neck issue.
- Reportedly they thought they needed to limit his snaps to keep him healthy.

Ideally you want a FS with more ball hawking skills than Hooker has exhibited . Mukuamu would seem a natural to challenge at that position .

Edoga is hurt more than available and the entire line has a diffetent vibe with Guyton a much better look . The guy doesn’t get beat at LT it’s penalties . I’m hoping whoever the OL coach is ( is it Kkayton Adams the OC ? ) they teach him proper use of the hands .

Lol! I can imagine the parties at those hotel rooms....at least they didn't stay at the White House....then again, they played pretty loose and relaxed. Worth a shot. Lol

Keep Jerry as far away from the players as possible. Change the locks every week to the dressing rooms so Jerry can't be in the team meetings.

Keep Jerry away from practices. Hype other guys like say " Deuce Vaughn will start" and then right before the game play the real RB. Jerry can't keep his mouth shut to the media and expose game plan and everything.

Tell Tony Romo to distract Jerry so he will stay away from practice. Go play golf, fly Jerry with you to the different cities away from the Cowboys.

Tell Jerry those strippers and that 25 year old girl he got pregnant are at practice and so is his wife.

A good back drop for commitment. Dedicated and staying with the work. Recooperation is an element in team also, although.

Guyton ended up on the boy side of professional at the end. Left tackle, he shouldn't give up an inch and start to cry. He needs to receive the newly instilled coaching.

They looked lazy.
