Love Kingsbury as an OC, but he is not a HC, imo. Skillset for HC and OC are different, and he has excelled at the OC part of it, and had plenty of time to learn and prove he is a HC -- but failed it.

The only two successful coaches Dallas has had under Jerry Jones have been ones that take control, Bill Parcells and Jimmy Johnson. Unfortunately, the struggle to keep control led to both leaving but that is a different post. Dallas needs a HC that will seize control and keep it long enough to win a championship. Coaches like Kingsbury will not be able to establish the amount of control needed to win.

Until Kingsbury and Murray went sideways Kliff had made Arizona relevant as a franchise . Dallas made trips out there seemed to end in losses .

No thanks. But he will be another hot candidate. I watched enough of him as a Tech fan….

Like what used to be said about Garrett, we need to stick with MM forever because some are afraid his replacement might be worse.

If it's not Belichick or Vrabel then Jerry will go with Kellen Moore
KN may be correct then Dak will still be in the same basic system used for the last 9 seasons, it’s a perfect fit for JJ he will be the next Landry in JJ’s eyes

Health concerns left to Bill Parcells leaving. He's said as much.

If the off season didn't start with the GM being fired then it won't matter who the next "coach" is.

What do you think of Kingsbury as the next HC to bring in a modern offense?
The Lions OC would probably be the best option at this point, or the hot upcoming college coach. Rather do that than some retread that got let go.

Rae Carruth would be the best option, just as long as he contractually agrees to put a hit out on the Jones family (including any offspring deemed at least 1/16th Jones).
