There are some good games this week that should help with the NC and BCS picture.
Virginia Tech beat Georgia Tech on Thursday and the ACC appears to be headed to a championship matchup between 1-loss VT and 1-loss Clemson.
The Big 10 is going to get messier with Nebraska at Penn State and Mich St at Iowa. Penn St is undefeated in conference games but finishes the season with Nebraska, Ohio St and Wisconsin. With the current trouble I could see them losing all three.
Spurier and South Carolina are hosting Florida as they try to catch Georgia for the SEC East title. Georgia is hosting Auburn and neither team has a meaningful conference game after this week.
Bedlam is the only game that matters for the Big 12 this season. The Cowboys are headed to Tech this weekend in what should be a shootout but it is too little too late for the Texas schools to catch OSU or OU.
The Pac-12 has the most interesting matchup of the week with #6 Oregon traveling to #3 Stanford in a game most think will decide the conference championship. A Stanford win solidifies their position ahead of Boise State and 1-loss Alabama for a spot in the NC game.
In Boise State's second toughest match of the year they are hosting TCU. This game will decide the MWC champion, can TCU pull off the big upset on the blue turf?
