There was a handful of us watching the game together tonight. As the debacle unfolded, there was no yelling, cursing, throwing things.
Just silence. Checking emails on phones, chit chatting about our upcoming week.
By mid 3rd quarter we disbursed. As if leaving an afternoon tea.
This franchise, this era has finally made us comfortably numb.

I venture our little group is not alone in the feeling.

Nope, Jerry has created a culture where this team is never going to win anything of note.
He has a great draft group in place to obtain enough talent to be competitive, but the entitled, country club culture he has fostered will always undermine the team.

Been that way for years for me.

Last game I really was pissed over was the Aaron Glenn/Roy Williams meltdown vs Santana Moss.
The Giants playoff loss in 2007 sucked, but it didn't hit that hard.

Third time in 20 months I bet the Niners to win straight up, just because I thought they'd win. If I'm going to sit through it I might as get something from it.

If the Cowboys happen to see them again in January I'll make the same bet. It's easy money until the Cowboys prove it is not.

Pretty much the same at my place. All of us sensed this was a “prove it” kind of game without dwelling on that feeling and also many of us expressed zero emotion at the outcome. Perhaps we’ve been conditioned to acceptance, IDK.

I stopped posting here as much I used to two years ago. in 2021 I posted that the Jerry Cowboys will NEVER when a SB, I said that the likes of Washington, and Detroit will reach the SB before Jerry Cowboys.

At least for him, he is making money, having good time playing real "not fantasy" football, and laughing at fans whenever he see the balance sheet. Too much for me to worry about and not worth my time. I have better things in my life. I watch, but without emotions, even when they win, I know they are not going far or deep in the playoffs, so, why bother.

As long as Jerry is around, you will only get a team of fashionistas and social media celebrities. A team that plays for "clicks" top to bottom. Even if we draft a talent of an era, the Jerry culture will ruin them.

Save your times guys and don't get expensed on a clown show. I'd say save your money too, that's one thing you could take away from Jerry.

Maybe if indifference set in among more fans, there would be empty seats and less money rolling in. To me that's the only way anything changes.

I waited until the game was over until I watched it on NFL Game Pass. After about 20 minutes of cruising through the first 2 quarters, I figured out where it was going and stopped watching.

I've been that way for a while. Dallas losing is expected. I only get agitated with Dak because he brings very little too the table when it comes to lifting his supporting cast. Then I realize that the decision makers are the reason he's there, where my frustration goes away.
