Reports were a very lousy 11 million over the weekend domestically and 26 million over worldwide.

That's the epitome of total bust at the box office. many wondered if a Kraven solo movie would work - now we now for sure it did not.
Needless to say ... definite no sequel .and a bad idea to begin with.

Superman is My most anticipated movie in a LONG time.

Look up. He's the hero we need right now.

The guy certainly looks the part, but what in the heck were they thinking of with the outfit? He looks like a child in an oversized cheap cosplay outfit inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy.

The lines on the suit are stupid and unneeded.

I do like the hummed version of John Williams score for the teasers.

IDK if it's going to be great, or corny as hell, but at least we finally have a Lois Lane (motion picture version) worthy of the Man of Steel!

They'd better not kill Krypto! haha. The trailer looked good. Still hate the costume with pads, but the trailer looks interesting!

Seriously. Still the best casting choice after watching the trailer, and he better live up to a Christopher Reeve type performance or she will dominate him easily.

Wait, he has a statue of himself in his Fortress of Solitude? Wouldn't that be the antithesis of what Clark/Superman's personality is? Seems like the writer/animator wanted a Supes version of the Batcave with the Batman trophies.

Not quite. That is the usual Fortress statue of the House of El of his parents, Jor-El and Lara. The TikTok crops the side-by-side statues as the face Kal-El and Lois. Here is the same scene from the YouTube video (link):

Usually, both parent statues are holding the planet symbolically. And the chest emblem is the customary symbol of their house.

No, you're right, I was referring to the one that cropped Lara out. But it just seems to me that Kal-El/Clark wouldn't need trophies. That's more of a Batman thing.
