Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Washington Commanders have inquired about Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb.

How much more of this can Campbell endure? It seems every year the organization is looking at someone to either bring in or help, or replace and yet Campbell is still better than what they try to bring in.

I think its classy Campbell keeps quiet about it, but articles like this has got to make his blood boil at some points.

If I were the 49ers I would jump all over a 2nd for McNabb. They'd still have 2 1sts. I'd take Spiller and Bryant and run away with the NFC West. That division is a joke.

Run away with the NFC West for the next 3 to 5 years too.

I have no idea why SF isn't all over this. McNabb would have a running game for the first time in his career in Frank Gore, big time TE in Vernon Davis, and then Crabtree and Bryant?

Cowboys-Niners rivalry would be revived.

In fairness to the skins, there isn't an aging veteran in the league they haven't inquired about, so this isn't really a shocker.

49ers would be really good. Scary good. Their only real problem is offense at this point. Patrick Willis is the heart of a pretty stout defense.
