Compensation picks predictions

Let's try a running thread for predicting what losses will create compensation picks for next season...

I'll start, Kansas City signing Hitchens - 4th rounder

Keith Smith may get a 7th rounder.
He was a RFA that they did not make an offer to, so I guess that means he was a FA that counts toward a comp pick?

I believe the contracts have to be over $1 million per year to qualify. But also depends on how many qualify. I think the max they give out is 32 picks, and no more than 4 per team. So that $2 mil per year will need to be in that top 32.

I need to look up how many they give out each year, but I am pretty sure there is a limit.

I am hoping Butler can get us a 5th or 6th rounder, but heck even a 7th is better than nothing.

Depends on who we sign to offset our losses as well though.
