Lets all give it up for this guy! What a great game he played as many others...Bradie James had a great one also! We all remember all the negative talk Barbie got in the past few years but lets give Bobbie some love please! I have always had his back...I knew if he was given the chance he would show up and play better! Who agrees? Good job Bobbie!

I was so pleased for the guy. The people in our section were going nuts when he recovered those two fumbles and just loving the fact that Bobby played so hard.

I think he recovered 2 Fumbles Saturday.

At least he is contributing something.

To be fair, Carpenter has played solid all season. Yes, as a 1st round pick, he's been a disappointment. But can you really say you missed Kevin Burnett?

His hussle to grab the Vick fumble was only surpassed by Vick's nonchalant demeanor of trying to recover it, lol!
It almost seemed like vick was shocked that Bobby got to it so fast

not one of the people who called for his head will admit they were way off.

That said, isn't his contract up soon? might be a good player to keep around, knows the system, is good friends with Romo and Witten.

I say we sign bobby to a life time contract and teach him how to hold kicks.

Carp has been playing well as a cover LB. I think it's time to stop expecting him to be something else. We all wanted him to be Carl Banks when he was drafted in the first round. Spencer has since covered that role. Carpenter is our nickel LB and he's doing a good job of it. Time to move on.

Carpenter has outperformed last year's nickel back. He's been solid all year seldom being out of position. Not exactly the role you'd want from a 1st round pick and certainly has taken him enough time to get there. But gotta give him his due. Have all year.

From what I understand about Carp, he was a pass rusher in college. He was also moved around a ton once he got here. Seems like a bright kid, just took him a while for the light to come on.

Bobby Carpenter has quietly had a very solid season. He has gotten beat on a few plays, but he been good in coverage and generated decent pressure on the QB when hes asked to do that.

As long as he doesn't expect to be paid too generously I say keep the guy around and see what all he can do for us.

Funny thing about that: From what I understand, no one in the League projected Carp as a 3-4 OLB but the Cow (Parcells) boys.

He can be an all pro but you never get rid of a nick name like Barbie.

Barbie has been a pleasant surprise and if possible I won't be oppose to keeping him after the season.

im impressed about how people see performance on the field! and im really starting to fall in love with this team!

He chased down a ball....twice

Hes an NFL player and everything, but that was more a look what I found

You know, two of Barbie's biggest games have come in the playoffs. If we have such things as "big-game quarterbacks", is Barbie a big-game linebacker?*

*I'm being sarcastic. Sort of.
