No longer in my mind is the SEC defense a myth. They made OU and Bradford work for every single yard.

I am extremely impressed with OU's effort on defense. It's funny how a few bad decisions and a few bad playcalls can alter a whole offensive performance.

I question Stoops' ability to prepare his team with a 30 day rest. He is a great coach and will continue to do great things.

I try not to think about the past losses, and realize that OU did come to play Thursday night and they showed that they were very worthy of being on the same field as Tim Tebow and the SEC Champions.

Let me give Tebow credit where credit is due. That man is a leader and he is a great college football player. Not that you need the reminder, but I was convinced. He is a good guy and I'm tired of all the religious bashing. He does great things and should be applauded by ALL of us for doing God's great work.

I hope he goes on to have success in the NFL at whatever position. Heck, put him at linebacker. I'm sure he could knock a few heads back there.. lol

Again, it's hard to look past OU's history of bowl flops, but friends, OU did not flop Thursday night. They showed up, played hard, and lost to a better team.

We'll be back. Sooners never die.

Being on this forum has made me appreciate the hatred for our team. I cannot wait for next year.

Why on Earth would anyone hate the Sooner football program? It has always been such a clean run program that everyone could look up to.

Yeah, if you actually spent some time looking into the issues, you would understand that it is because of OU football and Barry Switzer that impoverished players are now allowed to work and receive financial help from the university.

We took the fall, and now life for a collegiate athlete is better. Joe Paterno stood up for us as well. He coached in the bad days of NCAA football and understand the shame that programs had as they watched the men that brought the money into the universities struggle. He watched as athletes from poor backgrounds struggled just to clothe feed themselves while they went out on Saturdays to entertain the masses.

I am close friends with two ex-OU football players, one of whom comes from a one parent home. He struggled from one meal to the next. Because of the fall that Switzer took, he was able to receive 500 bucks a month to cover living costs that other students on scholarship were able to enjoy.

You can think of OU as a dirty program, but unfortunately you are blind to the facts. Life for a college athlete is better now because of OU.

Oh, come on, Trick.

You never that everyone is Austin is consumed with OU hate. It's not as if there's anything else to do down there.;)

In fact, when the Mighty Teebo defeated the evil Sooner empire, residents of Austin flooded the streets and sang this all night long:
