Consistency

Sorely it feels like we have lacked consistency for the last 3 years, and it showed weekend to weekend this last season. Consider the offensive changes that have occurred since then:

'03: Quincy Carter, Galloway, Glenn, T. Hambrick

'04: Vinny Testaverde, Keyshawn, Glenn, J.Jones/Eddie George

'05: Drew Bledsoe, Keyshawn, Glenn, J.Jones/Marion Barber

'06?: Drew Bledsoe, T.O., Glenn, J.Jones/Marion Barber

Perhaps this is finally the year we promote consistency rather than overturn the entire team yet again, however we have lost Sean Payton and Gary Gibbs, we have had a different starting RT in each season, and probably will have another this season. Maybe this year, with consistent play at QB, RB, and WR, and if Zimmer finally gets his head out of his ***, then we can look like the Dallas of old.

Dallas has had to sacrifice a little consistency to get rid of some mediocrity. Who wants some of those guys on the team every year?

I still don't think Dallas has answered their QB questions, but Bledsoe is better than Carter and Testaverde. Galloway was a money decision and that doesn't bother me. Hewas good, but not worth his contract in Dallas. Julius and Marion should stabilize the running back position. Still some questions on how to settle the wide receiver position. Maybe some of these issues will work out this off season.

Don't forget that the offensive line has also not been consistent the last 3 years. Injuries and poor play keep the o-line from gelling. The defense was also in a flux, but there appears to be a good, strong nucleus in place.
