He’s playing solid but we need to score more TDs we’re relying on Brett Maher too much. Rush tossed a couple of INTs today that were negated due to penalties so we dodged a bullet there. Every game we’ve won this season has been because of our defense.

I agree. I thought today was his worse game, but he still did OK overall. They ran a lot, but didn't gain much yardage so the running game wasn't moving things along for him.

Love his deep ball. Got lucky with penalties bailing him out of INTs. In a shootout I’m not sure he’s the guy. Great backup though.

Hes playing like a backup. He was largely terrible today. Two picks called back by penalty and 3 huge PI calls that got the Cowboys in FG range on 3 drives.

The line was terrible today too. No excuses for Rush but for "whatever" reason they trotted McGovern out there a good portion of the time and his opponent was in the backfield or had McGovern on his back A LOT. Why not just put the best 5 out there all the time if Peters is willing at Guard? Doesn't make much sense to me. Guess they are trying to see what they have but not sure that is a good idea when you have your backup in the game. Still a good connection with CD, Brown, Gallup and Rush when it mattered. I'll take it.

Yep, line was terrible. Mvgovern absolutely sucks. What are they saving Peters for?

He did, but he dropped some dimes today as well.
I just get the feeling our offense has a lower ceiling with Rush. Maybe it's the same or worse with Dak. I don't know, but ultimately we will need more. One thing is for certain Dak better come out right or there will be mutiny.

Also to be fair, his ceiling may be limited to how conservative we are calling games.
I love the commitment to running, but it also chews up clock.

I certainly can’t complain. He manages the offense well. He just seems comfortable in the pocket and gets rid of the ball quickly. He knows exactly where everyone is supposed to be. He is calling audibles and making changes at the line.
He is playing well. I am very surprised and very happy about it. Never thought we would be 3-1 after week 1 against the Bucs.
