Players break down and cry when they lose a championship game. It’s definitely emotional, but you’re right you cant let it control you. I guess for some it’s easier said than done.
At least the players are in the game, it's how they make their living. The last time ive been emotionally invested like that in a game I was a senior in high school. I cant imagine as an adult getting that upset now.

The last time for me was against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 70s when Smith dropped the football. I think that was the most pissed I ever was about football.

2010 against the Jaguars was the game that did it for me. Before that I would be pissed when Dallas lost, that was the first game I laughed because you could tell the team had quit. Im actually glad for that too, I cant imagine being pissed liked I used to be when they lost lol

Yeah, but if that level of seriousness involves issuing a death threat to someone or fighting another individual, then maybe it's time to reevaluate one's priorities. Maybe it's past time for a new hobby.
I forgot the LOL, I know it’s not a joke, but people do take their football series. Imagine losing 10 grand on a game, crazy world.

The game for me was when Garrett iced our kicker in Arizona. He made the first kick, missed the second one, and we lost. That was a deep pain but ever since then I've just been numb to losing.
