A terrible thought. He had his chance to be a starter. He can wait for an injury now like he's supposed to.

They may see what Bland or Joseph, or even Wright can do it the slot first.

Brown played slot for his first few years or more off and on. Then at CB when needed or injured players.
I think he stays at CB.

You realize they play different positions, correct? Not every Corner is good at playing the slot, which is why having someone like Lewis is a great thing. Diggs is one of if not the best Corner in the League, yet he got toasted by Kupp when he covered him in the slot. Knocking Jospeh because he is not a slot corner is a little silly.

If AB is the best Slot Corner now that Lewis is gone, then he should play there and Joseph play the outside. If Bland is the best option, then he should play the slot corner. It's not a knock on Joseph either way. But please carry on!

Brown was a underrated and really good slot corner for several years. Think it has more to do with Brown is better outside than Joseph and Bland is better in the slot than Joseph. Joseph was a projection player, who so far hasn’t been willing to put in the focus to meet that projection. They’re not going to give him a spot, just to give it to him… nor should they!
