Cleveland Browns? I think it would be a close game and either one could pull out a win.

Usually this question is silly but it may not be as silly with how bad Cleveland is.

Maybe not this Alabama team but maybe one of the better college teams of all time could beat them.

Cleveland would be up by several touchdowns by the end of the first quarter against any college football team including the 1995 huskers and 01 hurricanes.
From 1934 through 1976, a preseason match called the Chicago Charities College All-Star Gamewas always played between the previous season's NFL champion and a team of the previous season's star college seniors. Forty-two of these games were played, and the college all-star teams won 9 of them, lost 31 of them, and tied 2 of them.

So an all star team would need to be made to play to beat an nfl team. I guess. Do I think this Alabama team or Georgia team could beat Cleveland? No.

You’re confident Deshone Kizer is going to light up a great college defense? I’m not.

Georgia may not be able to beat the Browns, but I'd sure like to see 'em beat Bama.

Complete wipeout.

ALA has what, maybe 5-6 NFL starters on their team? I'm not an ALA fan, so I'm not sure of the exact number. But it would not be enough.

ALA would be unable to score.

Yea, I wish this fallacy could be put to rest and not in some sort of exhibition game like 70yrs ago. These top College teams have maybe a few players who can make it in the NFL. The Browns have 53 of them and are much stronger and faster.

If this truly was a game with incentives($$$) for both teams, Cleveland wins 80-0. It would be a joke but I guess fun to fantasize :D

Yup. However, back then, the NFL didn't pay. So, the best players just didn't stay in the NFL. For an example, my HS history teacher. He played college ball, and was offered an NFL contract/tryout. I asked him why he didn't try, and his reply: Teaching school paid more!!!

My how times have changed!!!!!!!! Due to money considerations, the best football talent is in the NFL. The DL of the Browns would come in like a flood on every play. The Bama QB isn't anywhere near good enough to complete passes at the NFL level. 80-0 sounds about right.

I'm confident that the Browns o-line would create gaping holes. Alabama barely beat Georgia, yet anyone would laugh at the notion that Georgia could compete with the Browns.

Yeah the LOS would be where Cleveland should have a big advantage but that is why I think maybe the 01 Canes could beat them.

If the 01 canes had a NFL level QB they might be able to beat the Browns. That was a NFL roster.

I still doubt it. Too much talent in the NFL now.
