Could anyone else get used to not seeing Jerry and Stephen at press conferences?

This press conference with Parker seemed to go smooth and timely. You didn't hear a lot of rambling and word salads left for you to disect after it's over. Could we get used to this approach more of Jerry stepping back and letting the HC do more of the press conferences??

We know Jerry loves the spotlight, but at least taking a small back seat is progress!! Please give your thoughts!

He needs to step back to give this organization to determine itslef in terms of today's NFL. He is no longer innovative in anyway towards the goal of winning a SuperBowl.

He is now the Tom landry of 1985-88 of GMs. Sometime you are just past your prime, and there is no shame in that.

The problem is when you can't see it for yourself and don't see others cringing around you when you are talking football.

The you get ugly memes like your chicken scratches on a notepad or close up picture of your face and balding head with scab sores on your skin.

It's time for him to step back. The organization needs to begin the transition to the post-Jerry Cowboys.

They shouldn’t be so often. Like it or not he is the GM so he’s gonna be at some but I prefer to hear from coaches much more. I’m impressed with the way Jerry is working so far this off season. Hope he sticks with it

Yes, refreshing indeed! One person worse than Jerry is Stephen. He practically adds no value whatsoever and is probably the reason we are so tight with our cap space in free agency.

But yes, you’re right—there’s no need for Jerry and Stephen to be at any press conference.

I wouldn't hate it if more of the Cowboys press conferences were like this. I also appreciate the Jones boys stepping back to let Schotty select his own DC. For me that selection came out of left field, but after researching his pedigree and listening to some of the things CP had to say, I'm pleased with the hire. Kudos to Schotty.
