Avery is not only fast,

all reports I read is he is QUICK

Some of the tapes I saw today were mostly meaningless as plays looked scripted and QB's and WR timing appeared off AND FOOTING WAS POOR.

I am so sick of Tyson Thompson........take him, box him up, and ship him to Siberia to work the coal mines..........

I want Anthony Alridge in the 6th or 7th round. He can be our 3rd RB.

I would not be upset if we took Donnie Avery as our WR in this draft.

This team needs speed. It needs athleticism. It needs elusiveness on offense. How do we rectify this? RB Chris Johnson, WR Donnie Avery, RB Anthony Alridge...........boom we just got a lot faster, quicker, and more elusive.

I love me some Cricket....however, he did have a serious injury. I am not big on Hoyte. So I say let's get Owen Schmitt. He can be a versatile FB that we desperately need, as well as a guy who has the potential to be a Moose type lead blocker.

As far as the CBs go......Mike Jenkins is my favorite, but he is so gone before we draft. I also think the way Leodis McKelvin is rising up the charts, he will be gone. So I will be more than happy to grab Antione Cason. I also want to get that Godfrey kid from Iowa.

I want a backup QB. The one I want will probably go in the 4th round, if not the 3rd. I want Josh Johnson. I would love for him to last until the 5th, but I know he won't.

So when the dust settles, this is how I would like to see it.

We trade our 1st for a 2nd and 4th

1- CB Antione Cason - Arizona - Fast, Great Coverage Skills (Jim Thorpe Award Winner)

2- RB Chris Johnson - ECU - Fast, Quick, Elusive, Good Vision, Good Footwork, Versatile (Run, Catch, Return), Elusive in space

2- WR Donnie Avery - Houston - Super Fast, Quick, Good Hands, Could definitely be a Steve Smith/Wes Welker type WR

3- CB Charles Godfrey - Iowa - Nice Size, Good Speed, Very Good in coverage

4- FB Owen Schmitt - WVU - Bulldozer of a blocker and runner, nice footwork for such a big guy, good receiver, great intensity

4- QB Josh Johnson - San Diego - fast, elusive, can run if need be but is actually a pass first QB, very strong arm (can make all the throws)

5- C Doug Legursky - Marshall - Nice Size, at least a 3 year starter, he is a rock in the middle, would make a very solid backup for Gurode

6- RB Anthony Alridge - Houston - On the small side, but this kid is lightning in a bottle. He is super fast, quick, elusive, can run, receive, return kicks. Definitely value at this point in the draft. Goodbye TT, here is a 3rd RB who can actually juke and make people miss.

7- OLB Brandon Miller - Georgia - Solid LB, Georgia usually has good defenses. At this point in the draft, it is definitely feast or famine. We could always go OL here......
