Was checking a Giant fan forum when I came across a "News around the NFL" which I think is put out by NGT (don't know what that is). Anyway, there were 2 Cowboy tidbits on there I thought you all might find interesting:
a. How About That
Since his team's unpleasant second-half collapse against New England, Tony Romo has thrown 12 TDs to 3 INTs, completed exactly 75 percent of his passes and chalked up four 100+ passer ratings in four Cowboy wins.
b. NE QB Tom Brady needs just 2 more TDs to reach 40 TD mark in one season. He will join Peyton Manning who threw 49 TDs in 2004, Dan Marino who threw 48 in 1984 & 44 in 1986, and Kurt Warner who thew 41 in 1999.
FYI: For us Cowboy fans: Romo has thrown 27 TDs & has 6 games left to throw 13 more to reach 40 TD threshhold. Sur would be nice to see Romo's name in Brady/Manning/Marino/Warner above group. Don't forget, Romo will break Danny White's 29 season Cowboy high if he throws 3 TDs against the Jets on Thanksgiving Day.
