I hope this is the correct forum for this.
This has probably been discussed here already but I missed it.
Can someone please explain to me WHY the Cowboys have the 50th anniversary patches on their uniforms this year, when this is their 51st season of existence? Is Jerry Jones really that stupid? Or has he explained it in a way that supposedly makes sense?
Since I no longer live in the Dallas area, I don't get to hear any of the Dallas sports talk radio that was so near and dear to my heart for so many years. So if they have covered it, unfortunately I was unable to hear it.
Like I said, I figure this has already been discussed in here somewhere' I just missed it. So if anyone knows where I can find that, that would be much appreciated. If it hasn't been talked about yet, then if anyone has any ideas/opinions as to what the Cowboys are thinking in regards to this matter' I'd be very interested in hearing them.
P.S. The Vikings are also wearing 50th year patches, because this IS their 50th season. Also, last year all the old AFL franchises were wearing 50th year patches because like the Cowboys last year, it WAS their 50th season.
