We saw the trailer for this over the weekend, and just watching the trailer was an experience. It went from, "Awesome, a western with Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford!" to "Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Spielberg and Ron Howard!" to "Are those space ships?" to laughing out loud when the title of the movie came up.

It sure looks like a lot of fun though and the cast is out of this world, no pun intended.

Apparently it's based on a graphic novel, which I'd never heard of.

Not sure what to think, I like Jon Favreau he's done some good work, but his Iron Man II was atrociously directed. Hopefully it's not a trend.

there was this same thread last week and i said what you said almost verbatim.

i was watching harry potter yesterday, and this preview showed and i was like, hmmm i like favreau. oh man harrison ford and daniel craig like those guys too. wow spielburg too this should be good. then the title came on and the whole theater busted out laughing
