I love John Madden as a football icon. His commentary of Emmitt Smith after the separated shoulder game is forever in my memory. I wonder why the patch and celebration now some 2 years after his death. It feels gross that the NFL is somehow trying to monetize Madden's death. I loved the All Madden team and what he did for the game but maybe let the man rest in peace. Go end racism or something, NFL.
