On CBS....

Dalvin Cook isn't the only big-name RB awaiting his next opportunity. Elliott is also without a team after a seven-year run in Dallas, and his market has been so quiet that many have speculated he could eventually return to the Cowboys. But the team isn't considering that internally, per NFL Media, and in fact might only entertain a potential reunion in the event of an injury to another back. Tony Pollard is Dallas' projected starter under the franchise tag, which he's yet to sign, and the Cowboys also added veteran Ronald Jones and rookie Deuce Vaughn this offseason. The club saved almost $11 million by cutting Elliott in March.

Anti-Dak Cult in 2018:
Wentz is better! Dak owes all of his success to Zeke!

Fast-forward to 2023:
Wentz is unemployed. Zeke is unemployed. Dak's still a top 10 starting QB.

The cream always rises to the top. Fools always look foolish in the end.

For the right price, they would consider a reunion with Zeke.
No matter which way they are leaning, Jerry and Co. aren't about to let a golden opportunity to have people talking about the Cowboys go by the wayside by declaring anything one way or the other. That article is click bait.. plain and simple. Can't find an ounce of substance in it anywhere. Welcome to the offseason.

You got one thing right, Jerry's love affair will certainly keep the rumor of any return afloat while no other team show's any interest whatsoever. Not a single visit lined up or workout. That's not enough substance for you? Funny this is another Jerry ploy to get people talking. LOL The benefit of such nonsense from the owner has really been invaluable to this team.

I don't know man. Dak and Zeke didn't look so good in the play-offs once Pollard went out.

One, there is no way of any random "source" would know this. Zeke could have quietly visited a half dozen teams and worked out for 5 more and if everybody agreed to keep it quiet it would stay quiet. Contrary to popular belief, not everything is public knowledge. Two, I said in March that there would be zero urgency for Zeke to do anything before the season. One because he doesn't want to do training camp and two because even teams that would like to have him will absolutely try and wait until after the opener to sign him so they don't have to guarantee his full salary. That includes the Cowboys. As for benefit to the team? Meh.. Having people talk about the Cowboys has not been the reason they have not won. Having the wrong people playing for and coaching them has. If Dak plays at an MVP level and the defense plays at a Doomsday level and McCarthy can steer the ship this team will go far no matter what is or is not said about them. If a player can't handle being in the spotlight then he don't belong on the Dallas Cowboys anyway..

It’s pretty obvious teams don’t want to pay premium money to RBs. Saquon Barkley may sit out trying to get his second contract. If you’re an RB you better get your second contract early. You can almost bet Pollard will be gone after this season, regardless how he plays.

Dak threw for over 200 yards with 1 TD, and CeeDee caught for over 115 yards. Zeke only rushed for 26 yards. Pollard only rushed for 22 yards before injury. You got the Zeke part right.

People do not appreciate the resiliency, stamina and smarts of Dak, our top 10 QB.
Two first-round playoff wins in 7 years is nothing to sneeze at.
