The incoming class of Cowboys rookies have been assigned their jersey numbers to begin their NFL careers, and those wondering where Deuce Vaughn would land now have their answer
FRISCO, Texas — The 2023 NFL Draft is officially in the books and, for the Dallas Cowboys, that means preparing to welcoming their incoming class of rookies into the building over the next several days.
But before that can happen, there's the task of deciding which jersey number each player will wear when they take the field.

No first round rookies don't get to pick their numbers when it's on the back of a captain of the defense... Michael Parsons wanted #0 by the way but Kearse is the veteran and he got it... So you think that Overshown as a rookie who hasn't done anything yet should demand he get the number zero over Parsons and Kease LMAO umm

Kearse said in a interview he wasn't changing his number due to logistics. Meaning he didn't want to pay the money to buy out his current jersey.

Why can't Overshown get #0?

Micah and Kearse already said they are not getting #0 because it would cost them too much to reimburse Jerry and the NFL for their currently printed jerseys using their current #s.

Makes no sense for why Overshown can't get jersey #0, especially when everyone knows he's going to make the 53 man team roster...easily.

Dude how much disrespect and underrating of a player can you have javon Kearse is one of our best players he's a captain he wears the green dot on the back of his helmet and you think some college player that was picked in a low round could just walk in and take 0?? not a chance.. I hate to break it to you but there's a pecking order on teams and the veterans get first shot at the numbers that's why I curse got it he was a captain and a Wiley veteran that's why Micah Parsons didn't bother to even fight for it because he would have lost there is a pecking order.. We've been looking for a great group of safeties for a very long time and we finally get one you come in here acting like Overshown is some big man on campus, no this dude's got to start from the bottom.

He needs to just sit and listen and learn from these guys not worry about what his number is, seriously Donovan Wilson, javon kearse and hooker are all very high on the pecking order right now, he's got no chance, especially since Micah wanted it and didn't get it that should tell you anything you need to know..
