Not sure how much he can help, but at least he will be healthy.

The Dallas Cowboys need help on the defensive line and thankfully, they might have some on the way.

First, they traded for veteran Jordan Phillips....have been without Phillips since the opener.....played against the Cleveland Browns and was sent to the IR with a wrist injury........he could return in Week 9 when they take on the Atlanta Falcons.

Phillips might not be the force he was in 2019 when he had 9.5 sacks for Buffalo, but he's a 6-foot-6, 330-pounder who can generate a pass rush and hopefully help them slow down the run. It might not feel like a huge addition but any reinforcements they can get right now should be welcomed.

Isn't that the guy who didn't think he needed to be on IR? And a lot of people agreed, and thought the Cowboys just wanted him off the roster w/o cutting him?

For his early play, PFF gave him a 29.6.

Is that a PFF record low? I don't remember seeing a score below 30 before.

Though Mazi is working on it. 31.8.

Worst grade I ever seen someone have was Patrick Queen. He was always in the 20s for some reason.

Yes that'd be the guy but how about more context it was game one both these big uglies we brought in here like Joseph and Phillips didn't have any training camp didn't have a lot of practice were thrown to the wolves in a new defense and then he hurt his wrist but apparently you all know better he didn't want to admit that he played bad and hurt his wrist and maybe it wasn't bad enough to put him on IR but it wasn't good enough excuse but now I believe they worked him out in practice got his feet technically under him you know get some stamina back and maybe he'll come back and help maybe he won't but everyone acted like absolute zero will get from him I mean Joseph did a pretty good job a couple games I mean these three needed to be rotated on a regular basis active every week and then maybe we get the equivalent of 1 good nose tackle... Just gotta keep them fresh but I'm not counting them out because of game one and then he's been on IR ever since but sure all the doctors in here everybody who knows what people's thinking they know the truth because they think they know what they read or hear I bet his ego was hurt he didn't wanna be sat down so he says I'm not really hurt no he was hurt but probably you wrap it up and he could probably have played with the use that as a reason to put him on IR and they have that right...

As usual, I have no clue what you are talking about. All I did was post the article.

You disagree with it? I suggest you contact Randy Gurzi over at SI and give him your opinion. I'm sure he can't wait to hear from you.

@Big Dog, this guy bites the big one. He's terrible. Go watch the tape on him from 1st week.

He's comical, like NFL bloopers. ..lol..

He was placed on IR for being trash. One of worst scored DTs in the league.
Hopefully he was just out of shape.

Yeah he was so bad they put him on IR. Now they are trying to sell him as the next great hope. Give me a break.

I've never heard of this guy. But I'm sure we'll have no problems when he returns.
