Now that Whitt and Durde are out, Dallas has a couple of staff openings to fill on the defensive side of the ball. Here are a few guys that previously worked for Zimmer who might be available in some capacity or another:

- Paul Guenther - coached with Zimmer in Cincinnati and his last year in Minnesota. Was promoted to Bengals' DC when Zimmer took the Vikings HC job. His main position has been LBs.
- Roy Anderson - secondary coach in Seattle last year. Was assistant DBs coach in Minnesota in 2020 and 21.
- Imarjaye Albury - Zimmer's assistant DL coach at one point in Minnesota, now back again as a defensive assistant.
- Jay Hayes - Zimmer's DL coach in Cincinnati. Has been coaching in the XFL for the Renegades under Bob Stoops.

Maybe somebody like Andre Patterson comes available now that the Giants have a new DC?

Complete speculation, but if Al Harris would get asked to Joe Whitt's old function... wonder if there'd be interest in Terence Newman slipping into Al Harris' function. Just sayin.

Of course, another way it could work out is that Harris remains where he is, and the Jets' safeties coach that supposedly was interviewed for DC, Marquand Manuel, slips into Joe Whitt's old job.

A change at a few positional coaches can be a good thing.
As well Zimmer back as DC.

Hold players responsible. All available spot open for competition. No lazing through TC anymore. Though the NFLPA allows that now.

Who was the LBer coach last year ?
Wasn't he a young coach who was moved from TEs or something ?
Fail......
Don't remember his name, but just remember he was moved over from a. Assistant from another position.
Need to get a hardened LB in to coach.
