How many defensive starters from that team are in the Hall of Fame?
Jack Ham, Jack Lambert, Mel Blount, "Mean" Joe Green,....
In each of the the four drafts from 1969 to 1972 the Steelers drafted at least one Hall of Famer, offense or defense.
Then in 1974, four of their first five draft picks became HOFers. How would you like to clone that Director of Personnel?
It's an honor for our defense to be, in any way, compared to a defense that helped win four SB's in a six year period.
Hopefully, there will come a day when the names of some of our defensive starters will be as revered,

That’s a fascinating statistic. Those Steeler defenses were smothering . The man in charge of the defense is a huge upgrade over years past .

One SB against the boys, they had 10 HOF and we had 7 on the same field and should have been more, unbelievable the talent that year.
