I just assumed it was Avila but Bergeron makes sense.
Yeah, it was Michael Gehlken reported it 2 days ago that it was Bergeron… someone post it here. It was reported leading up to the draft that the players they we’re looking at were college OTs to convert… think Mauch was the other mentioned.

I like it when Will gets Jerry to take Mazi. That turned out to be huge. They would have totally missed the boat at dtackle if they didn't take him there.

Sounds like they were gonna take Schoonmaker at 26 and convert him to OG given his otherworldly blocking ability.

Yep and McClay's money quote ....."we have not had a Defensive Linesman this high in quite some time".

If you have the time, this is a great video. You get an inside look at the draft process.

You mean to say the process is more involved than just watching YOUTUBE Highlights ;).

That piece on Deuce and his dad was awesome. What a special moment that is for them!

It's great and all. I just feel like Mike is now pressured to use him even if he isn't the best option.

Chris Vaughn tells Mike, "he won't let you down."

But if he does, then what?

Unless it's a total no brainer home run pick, I would say that's it's probably never a good idea to draft a kid where they have family ties. The downside of how things could go far out weigh any upside.

I’m not saying he’ll be a bust but the lack of production is concerning. Hopefully, it’s because of what he was asked to do at Michigan.

He gets cut/ inactive

I get your point, but this a 6th round pick.

Just the Vaughn segment alone makes this one of my favorite drafts of the last few years. Have no idea how the picks will turn out, but absolutely enjoyed that.
