Pollard, Wilson, LVE (maybe). Other than that, take a walk.

I would bring back Ant Brown if he came cheap for insurance, too. Probably starts the year on the IR

I would want to bring back Hankins (if a reasonable short deal), McGovern (again, reasonable deal), Pollard, Rush (provided we don't have to break the bank), LVE (moderate deal), and DONO.

There are a few others that are worth a discussion but these are all must signs to me if possible.

This is a tricky list, with the exception of Pollard, you can upgrade any of these positions in free agency. The question is at what price? Some of the these guys like Fowler and Hankins should come pretty cheap and we need depth. The mistake would be overpaying for Schultz or Anthony Brown. Schultz is not a top tier TE and can be easilly replaced in the draft or free agency. He is also a dumb player as witnessed by his play in the last series where he seems completely unaware of the clock stoppage rule. We are overstocked on dumb players making dumb plays.

According to overthecap, the Cowboys are currently $223k over the 2023 cap. Two biggest post-June cut candidates based on cap savings:

T. Smith - Net cap gain of $9.6M
E. Elliott - Net cap gain of $5.1M

**correction** Z. Martin would be the 2nd biggest cap savings with a post-June cut ($7.2M) but I dont think anyone really expects that to happen.

There are also a bunch of guys whom, if designated as post-June cuts, can result in a few million $ of cap space. I do not really think the team will cut Tyron but, I do think it is possible that they move on from Zeke. I think the more likely scenario, as has been pointed out by others is an extension of restructure of several contracts. Top 5 in terms of cap space gain via restructure are:

D. Prescott ($22.3M)
D. Lawrence ($9.2M)
Z. Martin ($9.2M)
M. Gallup ($7.4M)
E. Elliott ($7.3M)

Point being they have some tough decision to make if they want to keep any of those guys listed.

Wilson another one of those guys that starts stumbling and fumbling when the lights come on. I see no reason to pay him with Mukuamu and Bell waiting in the wings. Schultz replacements are on the roster too. Keep churning

He went up against a top 3 tight end. Unless we replacing him with derwin James yall tweaking again

Clearly there are a handful of players on that list the Cowboys have to keep.

The non-big name players all depend on price.

I know that's a generic answer but really does any of this matter with you know who playing QB next year?

First and foremost Steele needs to be brought back.

Wilson, LVE, TP I'd try on all of them.

Hankins, and TY should be cheap.

McG might be too costly, but he's become a good rotational player and if the cost is right I'd love to have him and AB back.

Cowboys will give him an above market deal like they did with Gallup. They love overpaying players coming back from injury.

Dak got his payday after being injured as well. So did tank.
