then, which do you want brought back and who to just leave.

Keep in mind, they still need to fill the roster, and a player you may not want, may be the best option as well. Teams just can't let everyone go.
Also which players give us the best comp picks.

I'm bringing back Hankins and probably 1 of Gilmore/Lewis.

Pollard/Smith/Kearse would all have to take team friendly deals for me to consider bringing back. Biadasz/Armstrong I think are typically middle tier players that someone in free agency will overpay for and net Dallas a comp pick.

I'm willing to let most of these go. It is time to overall some of the support pieces on this team to get bigger and tougher.

I would bring back Gilmore if it is a similar deal. Edoga on a vet min. Short of that...willing to let the rest go.

We would get some comp picks and open up a bunch of opportunities for young players. We also need to grab some upgrades in FA.

While they think about who to bring back, special consideration should be given to certain attributes:

• Hybrid players are not a smart way to build a unit in the NFL
• If you can neither stop the run nor run the ball, you can't win in December/January
• If you are paying top echelon money for a QB, he must to be able to win in post-season
• Availability is something you need from players that are starters
• If you have shiny pieces coming up for big contracts, its a good time to test the market for them and see if you can find opportunity to improve the team
• Old Vets are fine until they are paid above their contribution rate
• Smart, tough, physical works in the NFL

My question is will the Jones company actually look at other teams free agents or will the trip to Nassau on the yacht supercede free agency for what the 10th year in a row.

My other thought is what happens if Micah, ceedee, etc. Decide a hold out is required to get what they want in a contract now since we are running it back. Zeke did it. Got paid. Kicked up his heels and cruised.

This circus is so boring. Same clowns. Same fire eaters. Same lion tamers. Can we move away from the pt barnum circus and move a little more towards the nitro circus and maybe do a few no handed 360s or something?

As always it depends on how much money they want to come back.

I'd like to bring back Lewis and Armstrong. They really missed Goodwin on special teams too. They need Hankins or someone like him. No matter what, they must get Tolbert and Sam Williams off special teams.

I am leaning towards bring back Tyron depending on the money he asks for, but I want a backup. Maybe Asim Richards develops enough to be that guy.

I am on the fence about Biadasz. On the one hand, I think they need to get stronger at C. But look at the Giants. They drafted the best C in the draft last year and he was pretty awful. There will be growing pains. To think we could have had Creed Humphrey instead of Kelvin Joseph makes me physically ill. If there is a guy like that in this year's draft, great.

I'm on the fence about Baddy. Can we upgrade through the draft or cost effectively in FA? Franchise tag a possibility, but not preferable.

Undecided about Lewis. Good guy to have as a backup slot, but Bland needs to be the starter there.
