Dak probably forgets to tell them the snap count in the huddle.
Don't get me wrong. I believe Mike is a better coach than the Cowboys have had in awhile. The problem is the two big-shot owners won't let him do his job. He is the coach . I go along with what Keyshawn said . They need to set an example. If a player can't do his job, cut him or bench him. It's that simple. Make a statement to the team.

I agree 100% with this statement.

How many years did the Packers lead the league in penalties when Mike was the coach there. Ask yourself that question when you blame the coach here for being undisciplined.

Let's wait until the season begins. Saturday night's game was not enough go form an opinion. Is it bothersome? Yes, but they played a lot of very young players most of the night and honestly, I thought the refs were a bit harsh on Dallas.

Also, is it really McCarthy's fault alone? Does the Boy Genius get any of the blame? I guess the buck stops with the head coach but when the offense is constantly making mistakes some of the blame has to go to the guy who controls the offense.

The voice in MM's head, "You stuck me with Boy wonder, so he can swim on his own. And you stuck me with QB4, so he needs to carry this team, or let me draft my guy."

Getting banged for holding is better than your QB going down for the year when someone gets badly beaten.

Maybe stop getting beat is the answer?

We need a coach that's going to take the bull by the horns. But, Jerry don't like strong minded coaches and all of these Jerry friendly coaches aren't going to get it done.
 That's like 12 penalties a game.

Dante Fowler was benched. You want to bench Sam Williams, Tyler Smith, Josh Ball in their first ever NFL game?

I don't even know what they benched him for.

Just on espn. Dallas Cowboys have 266 penalties since McCarthy became the head coach.
The truth is a team doesn't luck into discipline or only acquire it because of talent due to cockiness.

It only comes with directed leadership.

This mess has been going on since the last century. It's no secret as to what the problem is. 27 years and counting.

Refs have had it in for us.

McCarthy’s Packers teams were regularly among the NFL’s LEAST penalized.

The entire sport of football requires discipline to have success.

So we’re SUPER disciplined when it comes to moving the ball, scoring points and taking the ball away (#1 in NFL in yards, points and takeaways).....

Yet somehow, in the one area of the game the refs control, we’re WILDLY undisciplined???

Sure. Totally legitimate.

I've been a Dallas fan since 1960...(chuckling to self) really attentive at ignoring what the truth of the matter is when You ask the question, now aren't we?

I'm Still a fan, but don't change when asked the truth...sport is less important than the show. Except for Parcells, the Head Coach was rewarded for fitting in and not for forging under fire and coming out steel.
