Are we seriously interested in the QB from Ohio State or the kid from Tennessee, or are the Cowboys just staying in the headlines as usual? It's amazing how the players of interest, seem to be in the same skill play as Dak.

The kid from Ohio State is said to be an early draft pick, why would we even have interest if we know we're at the bottom of the draft. I don't think any QB coming out is worth trading that far too e for. Please give your thoughts

Media teasing the fans to give them hope, the team will move on from Dak, and have his replacement.

I think it's a smart move to look at a qb to draft this offseason. They should be in the market for a backup, assuming Rush gets too expensive.

The odd one to think about is the Cowboys having a legitimate interest in CJ Stroud. Personally, I don't see it happening, but if the Cowboys were serious about moving on from Dak I think its more possible than we think it is. The only tough part is getting Dak to agree to a trade, but if his new team comes in with a new contract that could change things. I don't expect Dak to have Russel Wilson or even Deshaun Watson value on the trade market, but would Dak + a 2nd rounder be enough to get the Colts attention for the 4th overall pick? I don't have a clue, but it makes for some interesting discussions

Teams are always interested when a player drops right to them.

Stroud? No chance
Hooker? Sure. Hooker is already 25 and would be 27-28 by the time he would start. He’s got talent. But he’s pretty much peaked as a player IMO

Some are saying the Cowboys are leaking the nuggets to scare Dak into working with them on restructuring or extension. Of course, we have no way of know where the truth is but what's interesting is they have NO shut it down. Hell, as recently as couple of years ago, Stephen and/or Jerry would have shut down any rumor regarding Dak in a NY min. Think about it, if they are leaking it, problems are already there to have to use such tactics. Remember when Akiman and Romo were extended/restructured, we didn't hear a word until they quietly sent out a press release that it had been done. My point is this thing bears watching........as I have said, it's not as cut-and-dry or automatic as some fans think.

I think his play in the San Fran game really showed Jerry. This aint the guy. I feel like they are going to bring Hooker in. Gut feeling.

I agree ........one statement Jerry made about Dak during season has stayed with me. He was asked about Dak's performance after one game ( can't remember which one ) which was damn near perfect and his response was " when he is playing like that we can beat any team in the league". I have always sometimes you paying attention to not what is being said but what's not being said. That statement IMO shows a crack in their confidence.........it's as if he was saying what many fans are now asking....which Dak is going to show up. Noticed I said "their" coz do believe he's speaking MM, other coaches and Stephen.

Someone always falls in the draft. they are just putting it out there they Might be interested in someone if they fall. Mostly to drum up trade up from some 2nd round team and a haul for someone.

I think it's just media spin. Dak is pretty much guaranteed 2 more seasons here. Maybe drafting a plan B next year makes sense, but if you pick a 1st round QB this year, you are essentially throwing away half of his rookie deal.

Me personally, there's a couple QBs I like but none I love.

-Young looks just like Tua.
-Stroud is very advanced as a pocket passer, but doesn't have great mobility. IMO, he projects closer to a Jimmy G or a good-day Jared Goff rather than a top 10 franchise changer.
-Richardson is a raw ball of tools, but the dice have been loaded towards those guys in recent years. I'm a fan.
-Levis is a Sam Darnold clone. Ask any Jets fan how much it matters to have a 6'3" 220, strong-armed QB when he's obliviously eating a blindside sack.
-Haven't watched Hooker.

The GM of this team needs to learn how to keep his mouth shut. He has a habit of keeping the rest of the league well informed when it comes to the Cowboy's intentions.
