Why not a guy like Bobby Slowik? Or Brian Johnson?

I like that Brown is 36 and has helped win a ring with LA though.
Yea I think at least one team has interviewed him for an OC position. It appears MM is looking for someone to spend the week putting HIS game plan together or doing all the required legwork.

Add another name to the list of potential replacements for Kellen Moore as Cowboys offensive coordinator.

Jerry Jones told reporters Wednesday that the club has interviewed Los Angeles Rams assistant head coach and tight ends coach Thomas Brown for the position. Jeff Nixon from the Panthers had previously been revealed to be a candidate

These are weak Rooney Rule candidates but the next OC will be weak. McCarthy will be the guy running the offense.

Now the terrible QB has the extra load of learning a new offense. More asked of Prescott. I wonder how that will pan out.

And fans celebrated this move. 2nd most productive offense just was no longer tolerable. This is better.

Keep in mind, there are tons of more experience/season OCs out there but it appears MM has focused on a young guy who can grow with him, not someone coming up with their own ideas.

Man, I thought you hated everything. Guess you were really attached to Moore eh.

Who was the QB of the 2nd most productive offense? I mean, Dak gets credit for all that's wrong with the world, surely he had something to with the offense's productivity when he touched the ball every single play.

And ps. Not every black dude in the world is a weak Rooney Rule candidate. If that were the case, is the inverse then true? White candidate only interviewed because he's fully capable? Which would then imply if you're black, your actually never qualified and only a token hire? Ever wonder why the rule exists in the first place, check your own posts.

Why do you think he wouldn't have his own ideas?

Based on the hiring of the oline coach already who previously coached with schottenheimer i feel like these aren’t real interviews. Hope I’m wrong.

Helps that we typically have joint practices with the Rams. That bodes well if he's the choice, along with the fact that he's a McVay disciple. I'd love him at OC, Nixon at RB coach (has Andy Reid ties from his days in Philly), and Kitna at QB coach. Please and thank you
