Cowboys' Jerry Reveals Firm Stance on Flag Football in Olympics

Well, the 2028 Olympics is from July 14th through July 30th. So, they would be missing practice and training camp. No pre-season games are played then, except for maybe the Hall of Fame game which is always earlier than the other preseason games.

It would also be more wear on their bodies, making the season longer for many of them.

USA Football fields flag football teams in IFAF competitions including World Flag Football Championships.

I believe that the various IFAF Continental competitions are being used as qualifiers for the Olympics. Replicates what is already been done with kitted football and the World Championships.

Look at the roster for the US National team in IFAF competitions and you'll find out what type of player USA will field.

In Europe and most of the rest of the world, most countries are selecting specialist flag players from their domestic flag leagues rather than kitted football players.
