All Cowboys contact with prospects for 2025 Draft

Watched him for 4 years. Dude is heavy but has feet that are crazy. Emmitt and LeVeon Bell type feet. He makes his living in between the tackles but is patient with those jump cuts. I would love for us to snag him later for sure. Best blocking RB in the draft.
He always gave my Longhorns fits. I've always been impressed with his game.

He’s the guy you pair with a Henderson or Sampson-type home run hitter and have a tandem similar to what Detroit has.

I really think Henderson is undervalued.

He is really good at everything and not to mention he’s a burner.

Treyveon Henderson is a game changer and he’s going to fall to a really good team if these projections are correct.

Don't take a rb until round 2 or 3. Just don't. It was bad enough people wanted jeanty but now we'd take Hampton or Henderson round 1?

With the recently signed two free-agent RBs, I don't see them double-dipping the position using draft picks. Perhaps drafting a day 2 or 3 and UDFA. I know Stephen mentioned wanting a "big back" a couple of years ago before the draft.

I watched him play against my West Virginia Mountaineers, in big 12 conference play ,I would love to see a star on his helmet .

As the 2025 NFL Draft approaches, the Dallas Cowboys have been meeting with several prospects who could fill positions of need on the roster. Most recently, the Cowboys had an informal meeting with an intriguing running back prospect at Big 12 Pro Days.

Texas Tech Red Raiders leading rushing Tahj Brooks revealed he met with the team and it went "great."

Brooks is just one of those RB backs that is tough to stop because of his low center of gravity, balance and power. With his vision and cut back ability he can go for 127 unassumingly and it’s just the beginning of the 4th quarter and you realize you can’t stop him.

If he is there day 3, grab him. Hint hint I d rather have him than Mingo. Don't forget Ollie Gordon is one of the 30 visits.

Hopefully pick 44

I don't feel that committed to Sanders and Vaughn. I think they should get two backs in this back-heavy draft and let them sort it out. You never know, the later-round pick may turn out better than the earlier-round pick.

If we want to be a run-first team, then we have to have to horses for it.

With Sanders I would take one back in the draft . Maybe Williams does or doesn’t stick . Plus Vaughn has a KState coach running the OL , wouldn’t surprise if he made the team .

Tahj Brooks and Damien Martinez are two of my favorite RBs in the whole draft because their feet, vision, and power. I would love for Brooks to be selected by the Cowboys as early as at #76 would be fine by me Martinez too.

I don't think Sanders sticks. I think he hit the wall in Carolina. He's Zeke now or Dalvin Cook.

It'll be interesting to see what they think of Vaughn now that they have one of his coaches. But I'm for creating as much competition for the three RB spots as possible.

Both Sanders and Williams have averaged under 4 yards a carry the last two years, so I don't think their roles here are set in stone.

Definitely if we wait to select a back until the third round, we should select another one later in the draft. The hit rate is less than 50 percent.

i'm not as informed as you guys, but he's the guy i've latched on to.

Imo, the Cowboys should come away with at least 2 RBs from this draft. Also, the UDFA RB Market should have a few players make NFL rosters.

Williams n Sanders should be fighting for their football lives to get on of the 3 available spots. As you've stated 4.0 yards per carry isn't guaranteeing spot for these guys. I view Williams and Sanders as 3rd down RBs, but I think Luepke can do that just as good as those two.

I think Williams could be the back who rotates in for a series and then is used to finish games. I don't really see a role for Sanders, if we draft an RB or two. Ideally, we'd get two backs better than where both are at this point in their careers. I think I'd even rather see Deuce be given a shot than two backs who both were under 4 per carry not just last year, but the last two years.

We went that route last year with our FA RB choices, and if we didn't have Dowdle, it would have been even uglier.

Some good points, Deuce might be a terror in his old blocking scheme. You made me realize the Cowboys have Javonte n Miles as floor guys, in case, they can't get better in the draft.
