I can't deny the issues on this team. But wow just take a breath a be grateful for the win. The Cowboys could have gone into the tank after the 49ers embarrassment but they fought back and won a road game! Maybe it's time to accept that this years Cowboys aren't the 1985 Chicago Bears but aren't the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers either.

Sure the Cowboys got dethroned in October as the media Super Bowl favorite, but they are still in the fight. It's not time to throw in the towel. Just saying.

It’s true that a lot can happen in a long NFL season and some of those things are good. The win helped playoff possibilities.

I think most people here are frustrated because they are wondering “when this be our year?”. I can’t tell you that. Lol

But what I can say is that the best team often does not win the SB. A few injuries change everything. Other teams are also fighting the war of attrition.

Dallas may never have to line up against SF in the playoffs. Another NFC team might beat them or a critical injury or two might run their season off in the ditch.

I’m glad we won last night. But it would sure be nice to see the Cowboys put a dominant season out there and win the rest of our games. But I would also take a back door SB win and be just as happy with it.

"Good Job. The two most dangerous words in the English language"

Can anyone name the movie? Its not the exact quote but close. The movie is disgusting propaganda.

Be grateful? I'm grateful I have my fingers to type my THOUGHTS, this team is nothing to be grateful for until they prove to us that they can be the success that they think they already are

adding, "just saying" to the end of a statement makes what your saying not as credible. Make your statement and don't add a cliche that you think helps make it viable.

In general, most people are happy with the win. I know I am but this team has a long way to go to be considered any more than one and done in the playoffs.

If this were the Superbowl, and there were no more games to be played, I'd be ecstatic that we got lucky enough to win against a mediocre team.

But the fact is, pulling this game out of the crapper will probably only serve to make MM and some of the players think they figured it out. There's still a lot work to be done, from ST, to tackling, to blocking, to clock management, to play calling and design, to team discipline.

Life Cycle of a Super Negative Cowboys Zone Poster Yesterday:

1. Gets ready for game. Practicing their latest "I told you so, props to me" post about Dak.

2. Game is off, Offense falls flat again, Chargers score on their first series. More posts getting revved up. Who else can we single out?
giphy.gif

3. Cowboys hold their ground. Offense proves they can come back from a lost lead. Team is recovering from SF pounding.
giphy.gif

4. Trying to act happy about the win like most of the other fans.
giphy.gif

5. In Cowboys Zone, talking about yesterday's win.

Disclaimer: By giving our negative nellies a hard time and having fun, this by no means classifies me as a homer, Dak Lover, someone who thinks we're going to the Super Bowl, or whatever other extremes are out there.

I think part of his point is you can't expect the kind of proof you are talking about 5 games into the season, and every individual game isn't a season defining moment. We have to let things play out over the season and understand the season wasn't over after getting embarassed by the 49ers.

Kudos to those that don't just mindlessly celebrate wins any way they can get them and hold the team to a higher standard than that. A standard set by Landry and reinforced by Jimmy.

They are treating the Cowboys franchise as any other. You are saying they're special. So well done.

Hey, even if I disagreed, I'd appreciate the work that went into this post. ;)
